Setting up your Personal account on Digital Surge is a simple process designed to get you trading fast.
Why do I need to verify?
As part of setting up your Digital Surge account, we're required by law to confirm your identity before you can deposit, trade, or withdraw.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
A valid, accepted identity document (see ID Types for Account Verification for the full list)
Your residential address
Your date of birth
The personal details you enter must match exactly what appears on your identity documents.
How to complete verification
1. Sign up page
Go to the Digital Surge Sign Up page via web, or your can download the Digital Surge app, once open you will see the sign up page.
2. Create your account
Enter your email address, create a password and select Create your account
3. Verify your email
Select the verification link sent to your email to confirm your email address
4. Select account type
From your Dashboard, select Verify your account, then select Personal
5. Verify your Mobile number
Add your mobile number and confirm the 6-digit code sent to your mobile
6. Submit your ID
Select your identity document type and follow the prompts to submit your details
That's it!
How long does verification take?
In most cases, verification is approved automatically within a few minutes. If a manual review is required, it will be reviewed within one business day.
We'll notify you by email once your verification is complete, or if we need any additional information.
What happens after verification?
Once verified, you'll be able to deposit AUD and start trading. Note that crypto sends (withdrawals to external wallets) require a separate additional verification step. See How to Enable External Crypto Sends for more information.
