Once you’re ready to move funds out of your Digital Surge account, you can withdraw either Australian dollars (AUD) to your bank account or cryptocurrency to an external wallet. The steps and requirements differ slightly depending on what you’re withdrawing.

Withdrawing AUD to your bank account

Withdrawing AUD is quick and easy once you’ve made an AUD deposit.

Key things to know:

  • Your bank account is automatically linked after your first AUD deposit

  • Minimum withdrawal amount is $20 AUD

  • Only available Account Funds can be withdrawn

  • If your balance is in crypto, you’ll need to sell it to AUD first

How it works:

  1. Open the account menu from your dashboard

  2. Select Withdraw Money

  3. Choose your bank account and enter the amount

  4. Confirm using SMS or 2FA verification

Note: Your first AUD withdrawal is subject to a 24-hour security delay.

Withdrawing crypto to an external wallet

To send crypto out of Digital Surge, you’ll first need to enable external crypto sends on your account.

Before you start:

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) must be enabled

  • You’ll need to complete a one-time identity and security check

What to expect:

  • You’ll review important warnings about scams and transaction risks

  • You’ll upload a photo ID and complete a selfie verification

  • Applications are typically reviewed within five business days

Once approved, you’ll be able to send supported cryptocurrencies to external wallets directly from your account.
