Travelling overseas? Before you go, take a moment to ensure you can access and manage your Digital Surge account while abroad. Follow the steps below to avoid login issues and keep your account secure during your trip.

If you have Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled

If you already use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy, your logins and transaction approvals rely on that app rather than SMS codes.

Before travelling, make sure you still have access to the device where your authenticator app is installed and linked to your Digital Surge account.

If you do not have Two Factor Authentication enabled

If 2FA is not enabled, your account relies on SMS verification codes for actions such as logging in or withdrawing funds.

You may not receive SMS messages while overseas, especially if your mobile number is inactive or your provider does not support international roaming.

To avoid any access issues, we strongly recommend enabling Two Factor Authentication before you travel.

How to enable Two Factor Authentication

You can follow our step by step guide here:
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication on Digital Surge

Enabling 2FA only takes a few minutes and adds an important layer of security, particularly when you are travelling.
