If you’re not receiving an SMS verification code from Digital Surge, there are a few common reasons this can happen.
SMS codes are only sent when you initiate certain sensitive actions on your account, such as:
Completing a withdrawal
Enabling or updating two-factor authentication (2FA)
Creating or managing an API key
Confirming specific security changes
If the code is not entered successfully, the requested action will not be completed.
This guide will help you troubleshoot the issue before contacting support.
Using an authenticator app instead of SMS?
If you have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app, your verification code will be generated in that app instead of being sent via SMS.
Open your authenticator app to retrieve the current 6-digit code for Digital Surge.
Confirm your mobile number is correct
First, make sure the correct mobile number is linked to your Digital Surge account.
Please check:
The mobile number saved on your account
That you are checking the same phone linked to that number
Whether you have recently changed your phone number
If the number is incorrect or outdated, the SMS will be sent to the wrong device.
Check your mobile signal and network
SMS delivery depends on your mobile provider and network connection.
Please ensure:
You have mobile signal (not Wi-Fi only)
Airplane mode is turned off
You can receive regular SMS messages from other senders
If you are in an area with poor reception, move to a stronger signal area and request a new code.
Check for filtered, spam, or blocked messages
Some phones automatically filter certain SMS messages into a separate folder. This can happen on both Android and iPhone devices.
Even legitimate messages can sometimes be filtered.
Open your Messages app and check for folders or sections such as:
Spam
Junk
Blocked
Filtered messages
Unknown Senders (iPhone)
If you find a message from Digital Surge in one of these folders, open it and select an option such as:
Not Spam
Move to Inbox
Mark as Known
Unblock
Moving the message back to your main inbox can help ensure future SMS messages are delivered normally.
Restart your phone
Restarting your device can resolve temporary network or messaging issues.
Turn your phone off completely
Wait 10 seconds
Turn it back on
Request a new SMS code
Check blocked numbers and message settings
If a number is blocked on your phone, you may not receive messages from it.
Please check:
Your phone’s blocked contacts or blocked numbers list
Any spam protection or message filtering settings in your messaging app
Focus or Do Not Disturb modes that may silence notifications
Note: Focus or Do Not Disturb will not stop delivery, but may prevent you from seeing the notification.
Allow time and request a new code
SMS messages are sent automatically after you request them, but delivery timing is controlled by your mobile provider.
If the code does not arrive immediately:
Wait a few minutes
Close and reopen your Messages app
Request a new code
If multiple codes are requested, always use the most recent one sent.
