Process
While the exact steps vary slightly by request, a Sumsub check generally follows the same pattern:
1. Start verification - Triggered from your Profile or wherever the relevant request prompts you.
2. Give informed consent - You'll see a message explaining that Digital Surge will check your details against official records. Tick the box and select Next.
3. Continue on your mobile - Sumsub needs a mobile camera to capture your ID and liveness test.
In the app: you'll go straight to the verification screen.
On desktop: select Start verification on phone, then scan the QR code or copy the link to continue on your phone.
4. Complete your ID and/or liveness check - Have your Driver's Licence or Passport ready if requested, then follow the prompts for a quick liveness test.
5. Get your result
Most checks are verified automatically within minutes. However, requests involving a compliance review (like crypto sends) can take up to 2 business days.

Can I complete verification on desktop?
You'll start on desktop, but you'll be asked to continue on your mobile via a QR code or link, since Sumsub needs a mobile camera to capture your ID and liveness test.
