The Digital Surge app supports autofill from most popular password managers, including Apple Passwords, Google Password Manager, Samsung Pass, LastPass, Bitwarden, and 1Password.
To use autofill when logging in, your preferred password manager needs to be enabled and set as your autofill provider in your device settings.
What is autofill?
Autofill is a feature built into iOS and Android that allows your password manager to automatically enter your saved email and password when you tap into a login field.
Once set up, you'll see a suggestion appear above your keyboard or on screen — tap it to log in without typing your credentials manually.
iOS
On iOS, you can select up to three password managers to use for autofill simultaneously.
To enable a password manager on iOS:
Open Settings.
Tap General > AutoFill & Passwords.
Make sure AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys is turned on.
Under Autofill From, tap to enable your preferred password manager/s (e.g. Apple Passwords, 1Password, LastPass).
Once enabled, a password suggestion will appear above the keyboard when you tap into the email or password field on the Digital Surge login screen. Tap the suggestion to autofill your credentials.
Note: If no suggestion appears automatically, tap into the login field and look for a key icon or Passwords option above your keyboard. You may need to search for your Digital Surge login manually the first time.
Android
On Android, only one autofill service can be active at a time.
To change your default password manager on Android (Samsung):
Open Settings.
Tap General management.
Tap Passwords, passkeys, and autofill.
Tap Preferred service.
Select your preferred password manager (e.g. Google, Samsung Pass, LastPass).
Tap OK to confirm.
To change your default password manager on Android (Pixel / other Android):
Open Settings.
Tap Passwords & accounts.
Under Autofill service, tap the currently active service.
Select your preferred password manager and confirm.
Once set, tap into the email field on the Digital Surge login screen and your saved credentials will be suggested. Tap the suggestion to fill in your details automatically.
Tip: If you can't find the autofill settings, search for "Autofill" in your device's Settings search bar.
Saving your Digital Surge password
If you haven't saved your Digital Surge password to your password manager yet, you can do this the next time you log in. After entering your credentials, your device will prompt you to save the password — tap Save (or Save Password on iOS) when prompted.
If the prompt doesn't appear, you can also add your Digital Surge login manually in your password manager app.
Tips
You can also log in faster using biometrics — see Access your account faster with biometrics.
If you use 2FA, your password manager may also be able to store and autofill your verification codes — check your password manager's settings for this feature.
