Before you can start trading on Digital Surge, you will need to fund your account.
You can do this by depositing Australian dollars from your bank account or by transferring cryptocurrency from an external wallet.
Please note that Digital Surge only supports Australian dollars for fiat deposits.
Depositing Australian dollars
There are two secure and free ways to deposit Australian dollars into your Digital Surge account: PayID and standard bank transfer.
PayID
PayID is the fastest and easiest way to fund your account.
Deposits can arrive in as little as 60 seconds.
Some banks may hold your first PayID deposit for up to 24 hours as a security measure.
You do not need a BSB or account number. Simply use the unique PayID email shown in your Digital Surge account.
Standard bank transfer
If your bank does not support PayID, you can use a standard bank transfer instead.
Deposits typically take 1 to 2 business days to process.
Some banks may process transfers faster if they support fast payments such as OSKO or the NPP.
Important information
Minimum deposit: $20 AUD.
Name matching: Deposits must be made from a bank account in your own name. Third-party deposits will be rejected and returned.
Bank checks: Some banks may contact you to confirm the transaction. This is a normal security process.
Depositing cryptocurrency
If you already hold cryptocurrency in another wallet or exchange, you can transfer it directly to your Digital Surge wallet.
Each cryptocurrency has its own unique wallet address. Make sure you send the correct coin to the correct address, such as Bitcoin to a Bitcoin address. Sending the wrong asset to an address may result in a loss of funds.
Deposit times vary depending on the blockchain network. Network fees may apply when sending cryptocurrency from an external wallet or exchange.
Ready to start trading?
Once your deposit has arrived, your account will be funded and ready to use. You can start buying, selling, and swapping cryptocurrency on the Digital Surge platform.
