Getting Started: Creating Your Digital Surge Account
To start trading cryptocurrency with low fees on a simple, user-friendly platform, you’ll first need to create a Digital Surge account.
Setting up your account only takes a few minutes — and you can do it from your computer or mobile device.
Step 1: Sign up
You can create your account in one of two ways:
Via our website: Go to digitalsurge.com.au and click Sign Up.
Via the Digital Surge app: Download the Digital Surge app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android), then follow the prompts to sign up.
Once you’ve opened the sign-up page:
Enter your email address and create a password.
Click Create your Account.
Check your inbox and click the verification link in the email we sent you. This step confirms your email address.
Step 2: Verify your account
After verifying your email, log in to your Digital Surge dashboard.
You’ll first be prompted to verify your mobile number. Enter your mobile number, and we’ll send you an SMS verification code — simply enter that code to confirm your number.
Once your mobile is verified, you’ll see a prompt to verify your account. Select the account type that best suits you:
Personal Account – for individual users
SMSF Account – for self-managed super funds
Trust Account – for any trusts
Business Account – for companies and businesses
After selecting your account type, follow the on-screen steps to complete verification.
We’ll ask for some personal details and, depending on your account type, supporting documentation such as:
Photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence or passport)
Company, trust, or SMSF documentation (if applicable)
Step 3: Start trading
Once your account is verified, you can deposit funds and start trading cryptocurrencies on the Digital Surge platform — all in just a few easy steps.
