To help keep your Digital Surge account secure, we send you a security alert anytime a login is detected from a new IP address.

This feature ensures you are informed of account activities and can promptly respond to any potential security concerns.

đŸ“© What the Security Alert Looks Like

You'll receive an email with the subject: “Security Alert: New Login Detected”

It will include key details such as:

  • The IP address used

  • The time of the login

  • A link to lock your account if you didn’t authorise the login

🧠 What Should You Do?

  • If the login was you:
No action is required. The alert is just for your awareness.

  • If the login wasn’t you or seems suspicious:
Click the “Lock My Account” link in the email to freeze your account immediately and prevent any transactions.

đŸ“¶ Why Did I Get an Alert If I Didn’t Change Devices or Locations?

If your Internet Service Provider (ISP) uses dynamic IP addresses, your IP address may change automatically from time to time — even if you're using the same device at home.

This might trigger a new login alert, even though it's a legitimate login from you.
In these cases, there's no need to worry.
