When you send cryptocurrency from your Digital Surge account to an external wallet, a withdrawal fee applies.
This is the fee charged to complete and process your withdrawal, and it is always shown before you confirm the transaction.
You can view the latest withdrawal fees, default networks, and real-time deposit and withdrawal status for all supported cryptocurrencies on our Cryptocurrency Withdrawal Fees page: https://digitalsurge.com.au/cryptocurrency-withdrawal-fees/
This page is dynamic and always reflects the most up-to-date fee information.
How Withdrawal Fees Work
1. Enter the amount you want to withdraw
The amount you enter on the withdrawal screen includes the withdrawal fee.
For example, if you enter 0.05 BTC, that full amount will be deducted from your balance — including the fee.
2. Review the breakdown before confirming
On the confirmation page, you will see a clear breakdown showing:
The total amount you entered
The withdrawal fee
The final amount the receiving wallet will receive
Example
If you enter 0.05 BTC and the fee is 0.00003 BTC, the receiving wallet will receive 0.04997 BTC.
Want the receiving wallet to receive an exact amount?
If you want the other wallet to receive a specific amount (for example, exactly 0.05 BTC), you will need to add the withdrawal fee on top of your intended amount when entering it.
Using the above example, you would enter 0.050030 BTC so that the receiving wallet receives the full 0.05 BTC after the fee is deducted.
Fee Transparency
Digital Surge always displays the exact withdrawal fee on the Send screen before you confirm your transaction.
If you don’t currently hold the asset:
Go to your Wallet
Uncheck Hide small values
Select the asset
Open Send to view the current withdrawal fee
Once your withdrawal is completed, both the fee charged and the final amount sent will be visible in your Transaction History.
