Withdrawing cryptocurrency from your Digital Surge account is straightforward, but several steps occur behind the scenes to ensure your transaction is secure. Here is what to expect once you submit a withdrawal request.

Email confirmation for first time withdrawals

If you are sending crypto to a new wallet address for the first time, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • You must click the confirmation link to approve the withdrawal.

  • The link expires after 30 minutes, so be sure to confirm promptly.

  • If you change your mind, simply ignore the email. The request will automatically expire.

Pending

After confirmation, your withdrawal moves into a Pending state. This means the request has been queued and is waiting to be processed by our system.

Processing

The withdrawal is now being prepared and submitted to our wallet infrastructure. During this stage, the transaction is being broadcast to the blockchain.

Processed

The transaction has been successfully broadcast to the network.

You will receive an email containing the Transaction ID (TXID). You can use the TXID to track your withdrawal directly on the blockchain.

Things to Keep in Mind

Automatic processing

Withdrawals are handled automatically. Delays may occur during times of blockchain network congestion.

Email notifications

You will receive an email once your first time withdrawal is confirmed and again once it has been processed.

Blockchain confirmations

After your transaction is broadcast, the receiving wallet or exchange may require a certain number of network confirmations before funds appear. This is standard across most blockchains.

Cancellations

Withdrawals cannot be cancelled once they enter the Pending or Processing stage. At that point, the transaction must continue until it is processed or resolved automatically.
