Asset categories on Digital Surge help you quickly explore different parts of the crypto market, discover new opportunities, and easily navigate the types of assets you're most interested in.
These categories appear at the top of the Buy & Sell page and on individual asset pages, grouping coins and tokens by shared characteristics, themes, or ecosystems.
How to Use Asset Categories
Browse by category
Select any category to see all assets that fall under that theme. This makes it easier to explore sectors like AI, DeFi, Layer 1 networks, gaming, and more—without needing to search for specific asset names.
Pin and unpin categories
You can pin your favourite categories so they always appear at the top of your list.
This allows quick access to the themes you follow most closely.
To pin or unpin a category:
Hover over or tap the category name.
Select the pin icon.
The category will move in or out of your pinned section instantly.
View category descriptions
Each category includes an information (“i”) icon beside its name.
Clicking this icon opens a short explanation of what the category means and the types of assets included. This is particularly useful for users who are still learning about different areas of crypto.
View related categories on each asset page
When viewing a specific coin, you’ll also see Related categories listed on the asset’s page.
These categories show how the coin fits into the broader market, making it easier to explore similar projects or compare assets within the same theme.
