Digital Surge displays different price data depending on whether you are in Buy mode or Sell mode. Switching between these views ensures you are seeing the most accurate information for the action you are taking.

Toggling between modes

You can switch between Buy and Sell modes by selecting the Buy or Sell tab at the top of the trading screen.

What each mode displays

Buy mode

When you’re in Buy mode, you’ll see:

  • Buy price – the price you’ll pay to purchase the asset

  • Buy chart – the price history based on buy prices

Sell mode

When you’re in Sell mode, you’ll see:

  • Sell price – the price you’ll receive when selling the asset

  • Sell chart – the price history based on sell prices

Why this matters

Using the correct mode is important when:

  • Placing trigger orders – the chart must reflect the correct price type (buy or sell)

  • Analysing market movement – buy and sell prices can differ

  • Reviewing or monitoring trades – the wrong mode may make prices appear inconsistent

Tip

If the chart or price doesn’t match what you expect, check your mode. Switching between Buy and Sell updates both the price shown and the chart.
