How to Buy Cryptocurrency
Step 1: Navigate to the Buy & Sell Page
From your Dashboard, select the ‘Buy & Sell’ tab.
This will open a list of available coins and tokens sorted by market cap by default.
Step 2: Select the Cryptocurrency You Wish to Buy
Click on the crypto asset you want to purchase.
In this example, we’ll use BTC.
Selecting the coin will display:
A price graph and additional information about the coin.
A simple buy/sell window.
Make sure the ‘Buy’ tab is selected (it’s selected by default).
Step 3: Enter the Amount to Buy
Enter the amount of AUD you wish to spend.
You can also use the preset buy amounts if they suit your needs.
The amount of cryptocurrency you’ll receive will be displayed below.
Step 4: Review and Confirm Your Order
Proceed to the Review Page to check the details of your order.
Once you’re happy with the trade, click ‘Confirm order’ to complete the purchase.
That’s it! You’ll receive a confirmation message once your trade is successful.
How to Sell Cryptocurrency
The process for selling cryptocurrency is very similar to buying.
Step 1: Select the Sell Option
In the Buy & Sell window, switch to the ‘Sell’ tab at the top.
Step 2: Enter the Amount to Sell
Enter the amount of your chosen cryptocurrency you wish to sell.
The equivalent amount in AUD will be displayed below.
Step 3: Review and Confirm Your Order
You’ll be taken to a Review & Confirm page, similar to the buying process.
Review the details of your sale and click ‘Confirm Order’ to complete the trade.
That’s it! Your sale is now complete, and you’ll see a confirmation message once it’s successful.
