Doing your crypto taxes doesn’t need to be complicated. Koinly automates much of the process, helping you generate accurate tax reports and track your portfolio with ease.
You can connect your Digital Surge account to Koinly in two ways:
API integration (recommended for automatic syncing)
CSV file upload (manual import)
Connect Digital Surge to Koinly using an API
Step 1: Log in to Koinly
Go to koinly.io and log in or create an account.
Step 2: Add Digital Surge as a wallet
Go to the Wallets page, select Add Wallet/Exchange, then search for Digital Surge.
Step 3: Set up automatic syncing
After selecting Digital Surge, you will be prompted to import data from your wallet.
Choose Setup auto-sync to enable automatic transaction imports.
Step 4: Create an API key in your Digital Surge account
You'll now need to create an API key on your Digital Surge account by heading over to the API Key page from your Digital Surge account.
To generate your API key:
Open the drop down menu and select API Key
Select Create a New API Key
Choose either Read/Write or Read Only (we recommend Read Only for most integrations)
Complete your Two Factor Authentication or SMS verification
Copy the API key shown on screen
Step 5: Enter your API key into Koinly
Paste your API key into the API field in Koinly and select Secure Import.
Note: Syncing may take a few minutes.
Your Digital Surge activity will now automatically sync with your Koinly account.
Importing data using a CSV file
If you prefer not to use an API connection, you can import your Digital Surge transactions manually using a CSV file.
Step 1: Export your Transaction History from Digital Surge
Retrieve your Transaction History as a CSV file by clicking the drop-down menu and selecting Transaction History.
Open the drop down menu and select Transaction History
Select Export History, then Transaction History
Choose your date range and CSV file format, then export
You can leave the date range empty to export all transactions
Step 2: Add your Digital Surge CSV in Koinly
Go to the Wallets page, select Add Wallet/Exchange, and search for Digital Surge.
Step 3: Upload your CSV file
Switch from Setup auto-sync to Import from file, then upload your CSV file and select Import.
Your wallet and transactions will now appear in your Koinly account.
Remember: you will need to upload a new CSV file each time you want to update Koinly with new transactions.
