We've just launched the Digital Surge Agentic AI Connector — powered by MCP (Model Context Protocol) — a new way to connect your Digital Surge account to AI apps like Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible tools.
Once connected, you can simply ask the AI to do things for you in plain English.
What is the Agentic AI Connector?
The Agentic AI Connector uses MCP (Model Context Protocol) — a standard that lets AI apps like Claude or ChatGPT (developer mode) connect directly to other services and act on your behalf.
Think of it like giving your AI a pair of hands. Instead of just answering questions, it can actually do things like check your balance, place a trade, or set an alert by connecting to your Digital Surge account in real time.
Getting started
You'll need a verified Digital Surge account and an AI app that supports MCP connectors.
1. Open your AI app's settings and find Connectors, Integrations, Apps or MCP servers.
2. Add a new connector using this URL: https://mcp.digitalsurge.com.au/mcp
Claude — Go to Settings → Connectors, click +, select Add custom connector, paste the URL and click Add. Free accounts are limited to one custom connector.
ChatGPT (Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, Edu — not available on Free) — Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, enable Developer Mode, click Create app, paste the URL and follow the prompts.
Other apps — paste the URL into your app's custom connector or MCP server field and follow the prompts.
3. Log in to Digital Surge when prompted, choose your permissions, and approve access.
4. Head back to your chat and start asking questions.
What you can do
Check live prices and the market
See current prices, top movers, and what's trending on Digital Surge.
"What's the current price of BTC, ETH, and SOL?"
"Show me today's top 5 gainers and biggest losers."
Check your portfolio
View your holdings, balances, and what your portfolio is worth right now.
"What's my current wallet balance?"
"What's the AUD value of each asset I am holding?"
Place a trade (buy, sell, or swap)
Place a buy, sell, or swap through your AI. Every trade follows a two-step flow — see How trades work below.
"Buy $50 of SOL." "Swap my ETH into BTC."
Set a price alert
Get notified by email or SMS when an asset hits the price you're watching.
"Set a price alert and send me an email when BTC hits $150,000."
Set a trigger order
Automatically place a buy or sell when your target price is hit.
"Create a trigger order to buy $100 of ETH if the price drops to $3,000."
"If BTC hits $200,000, sell 0.2 BTC"
Set up recurring buys (DCA)
Automate regular purchases — set it once and let it run.
"Set up a weekly recurring buy of $50 into BTC."
"Change my BTC DCA from $50 a week to $100 a week."
Look at the transaction history
Review anything you've done on the platform.
"Show me my last 10 transactions."
"Summarise my trading activity for the past week."
How trades work
Every trade is designed as a two-step process to keep you in control:
Get an estimate — the AI shows you the price, fees, and what you'll receive.
Confirm the trade — only then is it placed.
Just ask: "Buy $50 of BTC" — your AI should fetch the estimate first and wait for your go-ahead.
Depending on the AI you're using, it may skip this step and place the trade directly.
What you can't do
The Agentic AI Connector does not support withdrawals. For those, you'll still need to log in to Digital Surge directly.

Important — please read
The Agentic AI Connector is a tool that lets your AI app interact with Digital Surge on your behalf. How it behaves depends entirely on the AI model you're using — different AIs may interpret the same request differently, and outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate.
You are fully responsible for any transactions placed through your AI app, including trades, recurring buys, and trigger orders. Always review estimates carefully before confirming, and double-check anything important by logging in to digitalsurge.com.au directly.
