Your Digital Surge account displays several different balances to help you understand where your funds are held and how much your portfolio is worth. Each balance serves a different purpose, and this guide explains what they mean.

Portfolio balance

Your Portfolio Balance represents the total value of your account, including:

  • The AUD value of all cryptocurrency you hold

  • Any available AUD funds in your account

This is the best snapshot of your overall account value, combining both crypto and cash.

Account funds

Your Account Funds represent the amount of available AUD in your account.

If your Account Funds show $0, but your Portfolio Balance is higher, it means:

  • All of your funds are currently invested in cryptocurrency

  • You do not have any uninvested AUD available to trade or withdraw

Wallet balance

Your Wallet Balance shows the total value of all cryptocurrency in your account.
It does not include any AUD funds.

The value shown on your wallet page is based on the buy price, meaning it reflects what it would cost to repurchase the same amount of crypto at the current market buy rate.

Please note the approximate value on your wallet page is based on the buy price (how much would it cost to replace the coins).
