Doing your crypto taxes doesn’t need to be complicated. CryptoTaxCalculator automates this process so you don’t need to stress. CryptoTaxCalculator is an easy-to-use crypto tax calculator that can help you generate a tax report for you to complete your taxes.

You can easily connect your Digital Surge account to CryptoTaxCalculator for coin tracking and tax reporting. The easiest way to connect your account is through the API integration. Alternatively you can upload your trades history by downloading your transactions to CSV.

Step 1: Go to cryptotaxcalculator.io and log in or create an account.

Step 2: Connect Digital Surge to your CryptoTaxCalculator account.

If you are going through the process of setting up your CryptoTaxCalculator account you will be prompted to select a platform to connect. Simply search for Digital Surge and select it.

Alternatively, if you have already set up your CryptoTaxCalculator account, you can simply press add an account from the import page. You will be prompted to select a platform to add. Search and select Digital Surge. (confirm once account is set up) (insert screenshot)

Step 3: Create an API key by heading over to the API key page from your Digital Surge account.

Once you’ve done that, click on ‘create a new API key’

You will arrive at the following screen, please ensure you click ‘Read only’ and then click next.

You will then be prompted to enter your 2FA code to continue to the final page.

Once you have confirmed your 2FA, you will be presented with your API key. Please copy this code and select finish.

Step 4: Copy the API key you created on your Digital Surge account and paste it into the below field on CryptoTaxCalculator and select Add API.

Here you will see the API integration has been successful, please now select Done.

And that’s it. Your Digital Surge trading activity will now be automatically synced with your CryptoTaxCalculator account.

You can also import your Digital Surge transactions through a CSV file directly to CryptoTaxCalculator Account.

Step 1: Find the transaction history section on your Digital Surge account. You can locate this section in the drop-down menu in the top right-hand of your screen.

Step 2: Just hit export history, and then transaction history, enter in a date range and select CSV file.

Step 3: Return to your CryptoTaxCalculator account, select 'Integrations' then 'Add Integrations'

Then simply search for Digital Surge and select it.

Switch from 'Sync via API' to 'Upload File'. Upload the CSV file you have just exported from your Digital Surge account. Select 'Import CSV' then 'Done'.

Your wallet and transactions will now be added to your CryptoTaxCalculator account. Please note that you will need to upload a new CSV file with new transactions if you wish to update your CryptoTaxCalculator account.
