If you wish to have the ability to send crypto externally from your Digital Surge account, follow this guide.

Please note that you will need to have your 2FA setup completed prior to applying for external crypto sends. If you need guidance in setting up your 2FA, see the following article.

There are many factors you need to consider when sending crypto to an external wallet. Please ensure that any crypto transaction is completed correctly otherwise, your assets will be permanently lost.

Please be careful of fraudulent platforms or scams. Here is a list of common scams you may come across.

Step 1: From your dashboard, please click the three horizontal lines on the top right of your corner

This will then open up your drop-down menu. From here, click on your profile:

Step 2: On your profile, scroll down to the ‘Security and Limits’ section.

Under this tab, you will find an option to turn on ‘external crypto send’.

Please proceed to click the switch button to commence the process of setting up your external crypto sends.

Step 3: Please carefully read the following warnings that appear on your next screen

If you understand the risks in sending crypto and would like to proceed with your request, please tick the confirmation box shown on the screen and hit ‘continue’.

Step 4: You will need to prepare the necessary documents for your submission.

To submit your request, you will be prompted to upload the following:

  1. Your photo ID (this must be either a valid driver’s licence or passport).

  2. An image of yourself holding a handwritten note with the words "Digital Surge" and today's date.

Step 5: Uploading these documents

Once you have your documents ready, you will be prompted to upload both of them in their correct slots.

Firstly, you will upload an image on your photo ID. Please note this will need to be a physical copy of your ID. We cannot accept digital IDs or screenshots.

Once uploaded, you may hit ‘continue’ to proceed with your selfie check.

Please ensure the photo clearly shows you holding the piece of paper with "Digital Surge" and today's date handwritten.

Make sure your hand and arm are in the frame holding the paper. This can be achieved by holding the camera further away from your body and/or using a smaller piece of paper.

Now that you have also uploaded your selfie verification, you may submit your application by clicking ‘Activate now’.

Please allow up to 5 business days for the team to review your request.
