What is an ASIC Company Extract?

An ASIC Company Extract is an official summary of a company’s registration details held with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). It includes information such as:

  • Business name

  • ABN/ACN

  • Registered office address

  • Names of directors, shareholders, and beneficial owners

This document is required for account verification when setting up certain account types with Digital Surge (e.g. SMSF, Trust, or Business accounts).

How to Purchase an ASIC Company Extract

  1. Go to the ASIC Website
    Visit https://connectonline.asic.gov.au.

  2. Search for Your Business

    • Under ‘Search ASIC Registers’, select ‘Organisation and Business Names’.

    • Enter your ABN or ACN in the search field and click Search.

  3. Select Your Company

    • From the search results, click on your company name to view its summary.

  4. Order a Company Extract

    • Under 'information for purchase', select Current company information.

    • Click ‘Add to Cart’, then follow the checkout steps.

  5. Pay for the Extract

    • The cost is $10.
