To deposit funds from your CBA (Commonwealth Bank) account into your Digital Surge account, just follow these quick steps.
Depositing AUD via the CBA App:
Log on to the CommBank app
Tap Pay
Tap Pay someone
Choose to pay by either bank account or PayID. You can either pay an existing contact or a new one by tapping the + symbol.
For New payee choose + > bank account or PayID > fill in details required
Enter the amount and description, select ‘Next’ and then ‘Pay Now’ to confirm payment.
Double-check the details you’ve entered are correct > Tap Continue with payment
Deposit AUD via CBA online banking:
Log on to NetBank
Select Transfers & BPAY
Choose the account you would like to transfer from
Choose the other account to transfer to or + New payee
For New payee choose + > bank account or PayID > fill in details required
Enter the amount, a description (that’s optional) and confirm when – now, later or set up a regular payment and choose Next
Click Pay to confirm the payment

1. How long does it take for deposits to arrive from Commonwealth (CBA)?
⚠️ Important: If you're depositing from Commonwealth Bank (CBA), please note they have a policy that delays crypto-related payments by up to 24 hours. This delay is enforced by CBA and cannot be expedited by Digital Surge.
You can monitor the status of your payment in your CBA app, where it will appear as "pending" until released.
As soon as we receive the funds, they’ll be credited to your account automatically.
2. What’s the minimum deposit amount?
The minimum amount you can deposit into your Digital Surge account is $20 AUD.
3. Do deposits need to come from a bank account in my name?
Yes — we only accept deposits from bank accounts that match your name on Digital Surge. If you use someone else’s account (like a partner or friend), the deposit won’t be accepted and may be delayed while we return the funds.
4. How will I know when my deposit is successful?
We’ll send you an email as soon as your deposit has been received and credited to your Digital Surge account. You can also check your balance by logging in and heading to your dashboard.
