What Happens After You Submit a Crypto Withdrawal?
Withdrawing crypto from your Digital Surge account is a simple process, but there are a few key steps that take place behind the scenes. Here's what to expect once you've submitted your withdrawal.
1. Email Confirmation (First-Time Withdrawals Only)
If you're withdrawing to a new wallet address for the first time, you'll need to confirm the withdrawal via email.
Important: The confirmation link expires after 30 minutes, so be sure to act quickly.
2. Pending
Once confirmed, your transaction will move to the Pending stage. This means it's been added to our queue and is waiting to be processed.
3. Processing
Your withdrawal has now been submitted to our wallet system and is being broadcast to the blockchain/network.
4. Processed
The transaction has been successfully broadcast to the network.
You'll receive an email with the Transaction ID (TXID) so you can track it on the blockchain.
Things to Keep in Mind
Automatic Processing: Withdrawals are processed automatically. However, there may be occasional delays due to congestion.
Email Notifications: You’ll receive email updates once your withdrawal is confirmed and once it has been successfully processed.
Blockchain Confirmations: After the transaction is broadcast, your receiving wallet may require a number of network confirmations before the funds are credited or visible. This is standard across many wallets and blockchains.
